Now for the good news. We found a wonderful home for Laverne. She's going to live in Brigantine, NJ with a wonderful gentleman name Gary. Gary is older and single, so it'll be a nice quiet home for her where she'll be the center of attention. Gary had a little blind cat that he adopted 14 years ago. She passed away in October. I think Gary & Laverne are going to be very happy together.
So thank you to Gary and thank you to St. Francis for listening to lots of our prayers.

First of all, apologies for not posting this immediately, but we left for vacation right after the show on Wednesday. For those of you who don't already know, I did not win Strategy Room Survivor, but considering I wasn't even one of the original contestants, I went much further than expected. So thank all of you for voting. I know it was kind of a pain, but I've heard from so many people who kept telling me they were voting - I was somewhat surprised myself!

OK, I need your help just one last time. With your hard work, I've made it to the finals of Strategy Room Survivor, but this is where it gets tough. I'm up against a woman who worked in the Pentagon with the Dept. of Defense. She also ran for US Senate. She has been the highest vote getter every week in Survivor. PLUS, they started the voting last week and no one told me!! So I'm REALLY far behind.
I need you to vote as many times as you can. There is no limit on voting. You just send an email to: stratroom@gmail.com and put my name in the Subject line. Then in the body of the email, you can just put my name, say you want to vote for me or be as creative as you'd like. We have until Wed. at 3:00pm, eastern time to vote. Get your friends to vote, get the kids to vote (after all, they owe you), get your coworkers to vote - it'll make you all look busy! The more you vote, the better. I know you all have it in you to send 25 emails or more each. Why do I know this? Because a lot of you no problem sending me every joke, cartoon and cute animal picture that lands in your inbox.... LOL
To add to the pressure, Fox News is doing a behind the scenes look at Strategy Room and it's filming during the 3:00pm hour on Wed. where they will announce the winner! So help me save what few scraps of dignity I have left and let's not have it be a total butt kicking.

It's official!! You voted me in to the finals of Strategy Room Survivor!! I have no idea how the contest proceeds from here and I'm pretty sure the people running it have no idea either. I'll keep you posted though.
